I'm playing The Game, but I just lost it because I had to remember that I was playing it in order to fill in the 'laying' field down bellow. Dang.

Is sitting right on the threshold of the Dog House right now, because the plank neglected to tell me that David Attenborough was going to be doing a book signing at the local bookshop, even though she was talking to me for several hours the day before the event. Apparently she thought I wouldn't be interested. Nevermind the fact that I adore animals and spend massive ammounts of time watching documentries on Animal Planet, Nat Geo Wild and Eden.
I repeat; PLANK.

The entire family were in Bodger's bad books yesterday evening because we fed Willow but not him. Mind you, he took it better than we expected; didn't try to push her out of the way, did some major staring and begging when we were eating our teas (but didn't attempt to steal from our plates), have us the -oh please. I'm fading away. Pleeeeease - look in the form....which is just adorable when done with big brown eyes (even with one as old as him), and finaly switched to the -OH COME ON! YOU'RE TAKING THE PISS NOW- bark (which Willow joined in on, even though she didn't know what they were barking at) and then went into a sulk for the rest of the night.
Now he's at the vets and having an operation to remove a lump (could be a tumor, could be cancr. I don't actualy know. But that's parents for you.) that he's had for a good few months now, but has only recently started to cause him problems. He's also going to be neutered (at the age of twelve) to make it less likely that it will come back.
So he's not going to be particularly pleased when he gets back either XP

Willow didn't take kindly to being left behind this morning and responded to it by barking for half an hour....until I finaly gave up trying to sleep and zombied downstairs (Give me a break. It was eight in the morning.)
Made it up to her by taking her for a walk;
Grass appears.
Willow: O0O OMNOMNOM *One step forward* OMNOMNOM *One step forward* OMNOMNOM
Grey: ¬.¬
If nothing else, she enjoyed the snack.

There're about three days (not including the rest of today) left until we go back to school, and I still have two books to read and take notes on, a poem to anotate, research to do on Shenaugh Pugh - or whatever her name is, two seperate peices of I.T coursework (one of the teachers didn't bother to tell us that the deadline is this monday until he sent out an email yesterday), Business coursework and my extended project for creative writting to finish. If that wasn't bad enough, everything is due in next week -_-. So much for holidays.

Main computer (the one with the internet) is dead, so we're now using my dad laptop. Which means I can't use the scanner. And he's meant to be posted down to Catrik (or however its spelt) sometime next week, which means we won't have a computer, because he'll almost certainly be taking it with him so he can do his work. That won't stop me working on those images of mine or doing normal typing since I have my own computer (which is even older than my brick of a mobile phone) but will stop me doing most of my coursework at home because, believe it or not, it's been without an internet conection since it was given to me (after they bought the main computer.)

Come to think of it, I have to say that it is incredibly wierd that my computer is still alive, when it's at least five years older than the dead main.

NaNoWriMo does, of course, start this Sunday, but I'm starting to doubt that I'm going to be able to do it at all this year, simply because I'm getting so much work. I had planned to spend Sunday working on NaNo - even hoped to get a good headstart - but the ammount of work I still have left to do between now and then makes it seem unlikely that i'll be able to.
Heck, I don't even know if i'll be able to find the time for haloween.

On that note: I was going to do a halloween pic, and still might, but since I can't use the scanner right now, you guys probably wouldn't get to see it untill next year anyway
Also, I can't actualy work out where the disk drive on this thing is, so I can't submit any finished pics either, 'cause I tend to save them onto a disk - mostly because my memory stick is too full to hold them even when they're still in progress >.<

What else is there to say............................

Oh yeah; Joshua Fondation (again, probably got the name wrong) came to visit the school a little while back and has offered to take us to Australia....but the trip is going to cost nearly 4 grand, which we have to raise for ourselves. Parents are extreamly doubtfull that I'llbe able to raise said amount, so, even though I really want to go, I probably won't be able to -_-

I'm seriously considering taking a proper swing at teaching myself how to do fully digital peices - you know, from sketch to finished product, rather than just goind from final lineart to finished product. Mind you, I don't see how I can find the time to try that out again, what with everything else I have to do :/
